キーレスを埼玉の自宅に忘れてバイク便を依頼した話

昨年、家族で江ノ島を観光することになりました。
ちなみに、家族は、「私」と「妻」と「子ども(小1)」です。
私と妻は共働きですので、なかなか休みが合いません。
また、私も妻もサービス業ですので、土日はだいたい仕事なのです。
そのため、家族揃って土日に遊びに行くという事はあまりありませんでした。
ただ、子どもはまだ小1で、周りの友達は家族で色々な所に出かけていると思います。
そのため、「何とか私たち家族も揃って遊びに行きたい」と考えていました。
そして、夫婦の休みを調整して、家族揃って遠出することになったのです。
行き先は江ノ島で、日帰りで海水浴などを楽しむ予定でした。

朝早くに起きて、車に乗って・・・
高速道路に乗ったときに、子どもは喜んでいましたね。
思えば、「車で高速道路を走る」という経験も、あまりなかったのです。
私は、子どもが喜んでいる姿を見て、「遊びに行けて本当によかった」と思いました。
そして、これから始まる江ノ島観光の時間も、とても楽しみに感じられました。
「貴重な家族の時間だから、思い出に残そう」とも思いましたね。
朝早くに出たため、時間に余裕がありました。
また、朝早かったため、道が空いており、スムーズに車を走らすことができました。
そのため、トイレ休憩も兼ねて、途中のパーキングエリアで、休むことになったのです。
そして、たまたま近くにあった、大井パーキングを利用することにしました。

大井パーキングでは、トイレ休憩をして・・・
ソフトクリームなどを食べて、再び江ノ島へ向かおうと車に乗ります。
そして、エンジンをかけようとしたら・・・
エンジンがかかりません。
そのとき私は、キーレスのカギを、玄関に置いてきたことに気づきました。
そして、このままでは車が発進できない事実に、顔面蒼白したのです。
最悪の場合、江ノ島に行けなくなるかもしれません。
やはり、子どものことを考えると、居ても立っても居られなくなりました。

私と妻で、どうにかならないかと、解決策を模索します。
まず、車会社に連絡しようと思ったのですが・・・
おそらく、車会社に頼れば、私の車をレッカーしてくれるでしょう。
そして、台車を貸してもらい、自宅まで帰ることはできるはずです。
しかし、これでは、江ノ島観光をすることができません。
子どものことを考えると、「目の前にある車を動かしたい」と思いました。
カギさえあれば、目の前の車は動くわけです。
そして、カギが自宅の玄関にあることは、わかっているわけです。
自宅に入れる人であれば、カギを届けてくれるかもしれません。
ちなみに、おばあちゃんは、自宅の合鍵を持っています。
また、江ノ島観光することを、おばあちゃんに伝えたら・・・
「時間があったらお留守番しているね」と言ってくれていました。
そのため、とりあえず、自宅の電話番号に、着信をしてみます。
すると、おばあちゃんは自宅で留守番しており、電話に出てくれたのです。
そして、おばあちゃんに、玄関にカギがあるか確認してもらいます。
そして、玄関にカギがあることを、確認できたわけです。

おばあちゃんの手元にあるカギさえあれば、目の前の車は動きます。
しかし、おばあちゃんは免許を持っていないため・・・
大井パーキングまで、届けてもらうことができません。
「どうしようかな…?」と迷った挙句、宅配サービスを利用しようと考えました。
そして、スマホで宅配サービスを調べて、バイク便を利用するに至ったのです。

まず、バイク便のライダーさんに、自宅に行ってもらいます。
そして、自宅にいるおばあちゃんから、カギを集荷してもらいます。
その後、集荷してもらったカギを、大井パーキングに届けてもらおうと思いました。
自宅は埼玉県草加市だったため、大井パーキングまで届けてもらえるか不安でしたが・・・
バイク便に電話してみると、「問題なく行えます」とのこと・・・
そのため、バイク便を利用することにしました。
家族全員で、大井パーキングのベンチに座って、2～3時間ほど待っていましたね。
ただ、バイク便のライダーさんは、大井パーキングにいる私のもとに・・・
無事にカギを届けてくれたのです。料金は18000円くらいでした。
私が事情を話すと「こういうことはよくあります。パスポートを家に忘れて、
海外に行こうとしてる方もいらっしゃいますから」とフォロー？していただけました。

このようにして、目の前の車を動かせる状況になりました。
そして、江ノ島に向かって、車を走らせたのです。
結局、3時間近くも無駄にしたため、江ノ島を日帰りで楽しむには、余裕がなくなりました。
そのため、急遽ホテルを予約して、結果的に1泊2日で江ノ島を満喫しました。
確かに、カギを忘れるというトラブルは起きましたが・・・
1泊2日かけて家族と楽しい時間を過ごせたので、結果的によかったのかもしれません。
(おばあちゃんとバイク便のライダーさんには迷惑かけて申し訳ないですが)
カギを忘れて大井パーキングで2～3時間も待っていたことは・・・
今となっては、笑い話です。
ただ、この経験を機に、外出前には忘れ物をしていないか・・・
特に車の鍵は何度も確認するようになりました。（笑）
